How old is this Peavey TKO 115

I'm looking at this older model Peavey TKO but having trouble finding more information about it.

From what I gathered this is the really old model (2-3 models old).

Any idea what era this is from? Early 90s? If its the scorpion or shieffield speaker (or what).

Mid-to-late 90's I think.

The TKO models go back considerably older, this is not one of the earliest ones.

Yeah probably near 99-02. They sound really good but I wouldn't pay $350. probably $200.
FWIW I really enjoyed the one I played through, set flat with an L-2000 it's pretty much tone-love.

I used to have one of those that I purchased new in 2008, absolutely rocked. I agree with mbelue on the price point though.

Hmm. At $200 even I can get a fender rumble 150 for $220 new.

The peavey can take an external speaker which is a huge value IMO.
I am pretty biased against fender solid state bass amps though and I've hated their speakers in the past. So I'm not real objective there.

mbelue beat me to it. I understand that some people dig the Fender amps, but I think the Peavey is superior. That and the whole external speaker thing which is obviously a plus.
