So I am using a Twin Cities amp switcher and have a pedal chain running through A and also through B. Before the input I have the AMT tube preamp. The EHX Mono Synth I have in section A hates the tube, and it is the only effect I have running to that amp.
So knowing that I have a dry output from the EHX, is there a combination of loops or cables that I can isolate the tube from the synth without having to just buy a second tube pre and run each after the Twin Cities? I hope I'm writing this correctly.
I never use the AMT tube when I'm using my Boss Metal Zone, but sometimes I am not using the Metal Zone and want to still use the preamp with my chorus on the B side of the twin cities:
tl;dr AMT tube -> Twin Cities -> A EHX mono synth
-> B Metal Zone, Danelectro Chorus
and I need the twin cities to reverse polarity because of the Danelectro Chorus
How do I run the dry from the EHX and keep the tube in that channel without buying another tube? Or is the reason I can't figure it out is because it's not physically a thing?
