Hi.
I have a nice czech DB (about one hundred years old) wich needs a new neck. As it`ll function as a second bass, I`m considering the option of installig a removable neck for travelling.
The problem is my luthier has never installed one, so I`ll appreciate two different kinds of posts:
1) pros and cons of installing a removable neck in a normal DB
2) (and most important) can anyone give me detailed instructions for a luthier to install one? At least any useful advice. Pics would be great.
