Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I wanted to buy a power conditioner for my rack and I have been searching all over but I can't seem to find a setup tutorial. How do you plug the conditioner into your amp head? Like what cable do I need for it?

The connections are all regular AC electrical plugs.
However, you might want to do a search re: power conditioners, since they basically don't really condition power. Its just marketing.

Power conditioners are nothing more than glorified AC power strips that are rack mountable. However, they're useful in racks where you have several things you want to plug in but want to do it neatly. But anything over $50-60 and you're paying for the lights.
So I know that the cable that comes attached to it is obviously supposed to be plugged into a electric socket. But how am I supposed to plug the amp head to it? Like what wire would i have to use and what input jack on the amp do I use?
I'm sorry for those dumb questions ^ I just realized how it works. I just have to plug my amp head power plug into it and the power cable of the conditioner to a wall socket. Just to make sure, I don't plug my cab in the conditioner too right?
No, just someone that has never used a power conditioner and wants to make sure he doesn't break anything while trying
If you've every used a power strip to plug in multiple devices - you've used a 'power conditioner'.

A powered cab, yes. You'll know if it's a powered cab 'cos it will have a power plug.
You can plug your amp head in to it, your cell phone charger, a desk lamp, a portable fan, strobe lights, etc. its just a power outlet.
Now that said, some have lights which are very handy, and others have a display that reads the voltage you are getting from the wall. Mine has plugs for digital components - no idea if these do anythung different than the regular plugs.
I bought mine for $160 before researching. Its pretty heavy too. There's definitely more stuff inside it than a power strip pictured above, but general consensus is the rack mounted ones do the same function but for 10-15x the cost.
I still like mine for the lights, the 8 (I think?) outlets in back, 1 outlet in front, and very long cable to reach the wall.

I'm sure Furman (et al) have a nice profit margin built into each unit they sell, but I'm seriously shocked by the consensus that they're just rackmounted power strips. There's photos and videos out there in 'webland of the guts of the Furmans and they are faaaar from power strips. I am the farthest thing you'll find from being a sucker for good marketing ploys, but an actual rackmounted power conditioner is MUCH more than a glorified power strip.

With a few specific exceptions, rack mount "conditioners" are nothing more than glorified power strips, and quality amps do not need any more protection than the manufacturer designs into the amp.
