Something that has bothered me since the new forum is how overly complicated the “Search” function has become unless I am missing some obvious settings somewhere. It seems the only way to sort search results in any way apart from “relevance” is to use the Advanced Search function, where I then have to select the exact forum to search again. And as far as I can tell there is no way to sort an individual thread search, sorting is only an option when doing a forum search. Am I missing something? Nearly any other forum or social media allows me to sort search results by “newest” or “date” using a simple button on the search or results page rather than having it as an “advanced” search feature that I can’t always access
