how to...

hey guys, i just pulled the dimarzio dp123's out of my jazz and put a set of fender custom shop 60's in it. i like the sound of the bottom end. nice and chunky, growly. it sounds more like a jazz bass now, and has a vintage vibe to it. the top end sounds a bit flat and lacks in volume at the moment.

how do i set my pickups up? so all strings are the same volume and i dont lose power?

thanks P.S. i done a search and didnt come up with much

i cant get the same overall volume out of it as my 75 RI. the pickups are fairly raised already. another weird thing is the bottom end of it sounds really nice, but the top end sounds like a bit muffled. is that just the nature of the pickups? or is there another reason for it maybe?
