HPF/comp combo pedal?

I was looking at the 3 pedals I like to run in front of my head pretty much all the time....HPF, comp and tuner.....and wished I could find at least the 1st 2 in one box......does such a product exist? The only head I know of with both HPF and comp on board is a Berg Forte, and I won't be buying one of those.

You can find all three in one box. Although this might seem like and "out of the box" solution for you. The Source Audio Ultrawave. While it's primarily marketed as a synth distortion pedal, it's got a lot more going on under the hood and you can assign the 4 knobs to pretty much control most features. You have 6 stock patches that you can call up at any time (128 if you go midi) and you can assign any or all of the features to a single patch. It's got a 5 knob compressor or expander, an 8 band EQ, HPF & LPF, multi band tremolo, a wide range three band EQ, plus the Ultra wave multi band distortion models...ooo and it's dual channel / stereo too. I have a true dual band Comp and the Snappy Comp models loaded into my 6 default patches. I have my HPF and LPF configured on every patch. If i dial down the compression control in my snappy compressor patch, it effectively dials out the compression completely, while leaving the HPF and LPF intact. If you tweak the distortion models, you could easily make this your default dirt box too.
The Source Audio Ultrawave has literally kicked three long term pedals off my board.

I'd suggest a Zomm MS-60B if it's for always on use (single pedal, real compact). Doesn't have a HPF per se, but has the AcBsPre (emulates a Fishman model) that has a depth parameter which effectively acts like a HPF. Range is 0-10, with 0 being the most cut (200hz HPF) and 10 being no filter at all (I think from 9 down it's like 40hz, 60hz, 70hz, 100hz and so on). Also you have several EQ options in this pedal, both graphic and 2-band fully parmetric, a tuner and many other effects (including MANY amp and preamp emulations and utilities such as noise supressor -not necessary really unless you're using intense drive- or splitter, many great compressors, etc.). You can use up to 4 effects chained in this particular Zoom pedal. Also it shouldn't set you back more than some 90 CAD used.

You torment me, LOL..........in general, I avoid non-analog pedals....I like to glance at the knobs and know what the setting is, and I abhor wading through and saving patches....but you're right, if I invest the time to get comfy with it/deal with the learning curve, this box would likely do all I ask and more...I just may have to try it!
