Nobody buys the stupid products that they put on amazon. They also have more equally dumb deals like a gallon of milk for 16 dollars. Newegg is also notorious for putting dumb products on their site too, such as a really old keyboard called "Panasonic Keyboard" that had nothing special about it for $2000.

I especially appreciate the customer review...

amazon review said:
I ordered the Snickers because they were advertised as being 2.07 oz. and this size is not available in our local discount stores. However, the size that arrived was 1.86 oz bars. This is the same size bar that I could have bought a box of 48 for $13 less locally.

They gave it one star.

So who is it that posts the listings for mundane items at absurd prices? I see it all the time on Amazon, and I have to wonder what the motivations behind the listings are. People with too much time on their hands?
Hmm, good question.
What if it's a way to launder cash. You set up a fake seller. And because everything has ridiculous prices, no regular person is going to buy it. You have a drug dealer who has a ton of cash on his hands. He buys these $500 candy bars and $2000 keyboards. He's actually buying from himself. The seller takes the payment and deposits it into a normal bank account. Money appears to be clean and earned via online retail sales.
