I’ve been building basses all wrong !

Apparently the keys to building a great bass are actually:

- moose antler body
- driftwood neck
- braided monofilament fishing line string

It’s amazing what you can learn while watching “Alone”.

there's a guy who always sets up shop at the local folk festival every year selling instruments made from all kinds of stuff.... antlers, shovels, I think I even saw a toilet seat once. I'll try to remember to take a picture when it's on in a couple weeks.

Three observations from watching this:

1) Well, Fender will never sue him over that sled, and . . . .

2) *** is his Bear Gun ? ? ?

3) No, it's not loud enough to play around the campfire with other guitars . . . .
