I’ve got two basses now.

How any basses to you play on a regular basis? ((pun intended)

Actually, I’ve got four basses. One is for sale.

I’ve been playing bass almost daily for five years. For three years I’ve played only my Fender Jazz. I just bought a Tobias Growler. It is beautiful and has an active sound I like. The necks of each feel similar enough. However, it is a completely different set up and feel for my plucking hand. I want to become as proficient on the Growler as I am on the Jazz, but I certainly don’t want to disturb my comfort level I have with the Jazz.

What sort of practice rotation do you recommend to stay current on these two basses?

As always, thank you for your expertise.

I routinely rotate between a Fender P bass and a tightly-spaced six string Yamaha. They couldn't be more different in feel, but I can switch between them at a drop of a hat.

In my experience, it doesn't take much to keep up your chops. No need to switch out daily. Though I would try to play them both as much as you intend to play them at rehearsals or on stage. Or, in other words, if it's clear you have a favorite that you'll play constantly (like I have), it's okay to just bust out the #2 occasionally, like once a week, to keep things fresh.

Wait, how many basses do you have? 4-1≠2. Ok, beyond that, if the necks are similar enough, why don’t you just have them set up the same? I only play one bass, so my expertise is exhausted at this point. Enjoy your new bass!

I have 5 and they are all different and they all get played daily.

I have a fretless Gibson Ripper strung with D'addario halfies that I use mostly for jazz.
An old P bass modded to JPJ with Chrome flats that gets used a lot for rock, R&B. Use a lot with a pick.
An old Rick 4001 w/ old Roto66 rounds I use in the house in the morning for streaming rock and learning originals.
An '04 MM Sterling I use mostly for slapping w/ Dunlop nickel/steel Super Brites. Also original rock.
And a Jackson Concert V mostly for fusion, metal, and hard rawk originals w/ Dunlop MM steel Super Brites.

Different axes for different stuff.
Also have a Jerry Jones Neptune 6 my brother gave me, but never play it. Don't really know what to do with it. But it's kind of a sentimental thing.
