But seriously Dude..
If you have a job, and are able to pay for this while maintaining a job, great!

If you taking ANY sort of loan out to do this, STOP. Investigate, REAL colleges. Look at going to a community college for a year or two (at cheap money), get a REAL associates degree, and then if so inclined, transfer to a better school.

Then get a REAL degree, even if you choose music, you will still graduate with a REAL accredited BA recognized by schools and work people.

Or.. investigate a real certificate plan that will get you work, electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc..

I am not going there yet I graduated a year early out of High school and I just wanted to get a degree in music I have been playing instruments since I was a kid I know tons of music theory, I was in my High schools advanced orchestra and Jazz band, So if this institute is only going to teach me what I already know. Then what college should I go to for a REAL career in music? -specifically bass guitar- By the way thanks for the eye opener guy s greatly appreciate it. Also the reason why I was looking for a new bass/ professional level/ was because the bass is have ow if a piece of **** it is an LTD J-205 and it sounds like crap. I have been saving money for better bass since I was a freshman . So now since the bass situation is out of the way. I think it is time for me to seriously go look and find a college that is right for me and has my best interests at hand.

U of Miami..
U of Tx..

Or best would be play REALLY well and go to the U of Right place at the Right time, for a career in music..


That is what comes to my mind first..

I find it difficult to believe that you graduated a year early from high school as you have very limited writing skills. If you're going to make it in this world you need to learn how to write.

Go back to school and take English 101. Your local junior college can help you in this regard and you may be able to use any cash financial aid they give you for bass guitar lessons.

Berklee and skjold!!! Pete Skjold mentioned something about a $2500 model. would definitely get you through school. (not endorsed lol) Since I am spending your money. The private teacher idea is a great one. Only thing it lacks is hundreds of aspiring musicians to jam with.

Congrats on graduating early. That's the kind of work ethic that will be required to actually make money as a musician. Are musicians the only trade where salaries continually decrease? Lol

Go to college so that you can express yourself with eloquence and clarity. With the WRITTEN WORD.
