I just spot on GC web 2 new amps under Acoustic brand - Invalid Link Removed and Invalid Link Removed.
I can hardly understand 300W coming out from one 15" speaker.
But, 600W from 2x10" headphones, must be some sort of peek power or joke.
Class D?
That is not going in my house or on my property.
Sorry.

cool beans. no need to apologize. ;)

i believe those ratings are for a 4-ohm load, so you'd have to add another 8-ohm cabinet to either to get close to the power rating which is advertised. good luck keeping them at bay!
+1 Yeah. Right-on on 4 Ohms for those power ratings.
Fender has an 800 watt combo w/2x10. But you need to add the second cab to get the 800.
I’d trust “Fender Watts” as being accurate.

Has anyone seen the output section on these amps. It's actually loaded with features lol.

Yeah it's 300 watts and has external out.
So yes it has way more extra power than just what one internal speaker can handle.

People just wanna hate this brand
When actually it has pretty decent preamp. Way more features than usual bass treble 2 mid pres on alot more expensive amps

Where does one go to find more info on these amps.
Clicked on the 300 link given in the OP. That took me to GC, but could not find any details. Then used Google and found a link to MF, but still nothing in the way of any detailed information.

I’ve got a Rumble 200 V3. That has a single 15. The amp is rated for about 150 - 160 watts by itself. The driver is an Eminence variant. I can make it fart out when I crank it with a lot of low end EQ. I’d like to know what Acoustic is using for a driver in this amp that can take more power (200-ish Watts?) But I can’t find any info on how much the amp will produce at 8 Ohms. I’m sure it’s out there somewhere.

Actually, looks like Chinese surprised even their own web site! No info for it even on Acoustic amplification web.
However, when I saw "Class D" on the front, I just gave up for any further investigation. I have first generation B200 combo and that thing is l o u d! Speaker, they used in it, does not have any markings.
Obviously, previous version of "300 W" had to go through design team all over again (it was just plain ugly)

Pretty typical now to list the power specs of the amplifier unit as if it were a stand alone amp.

True: if your interest is "how loud does this thing get?," the amp's full wattage rating doesn't give you a meaningful measure. But OTOH, neither does any other wattage spec.

I don't understand where the BS is.
There are plenty of other class D heads rated the the same or higher. Is my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2 class D amp BS?
There are plenty of speakers that are rated for that output. Go to US Speakers and look at a bunch of them.
Is it because the Acoustic brand is now made in China? Tons of stuff made in China.

Is maple syrup communist because maple leaves turn red? More on that in the Enquirer...

Sorry.

The Acoustic B600 reminds me of my Carvin BR610.

Ok, so the 300w combo delivers 150w through the internal 1x15 speaker (at 8Ω), and 300w when a second 8Ω speaker is attached - at a total amp load of 4Ω.

The 600w combo delivers 300w through the internal 2x10 speaker (at 8Ω), and 600w when a second 8Ω speaker is attached - at a total amp load of 4Ω...

...which is pretty much how all combos work... half the rated power through the internal speakers, full power with an external speaker attached. In fact it’s the same rating as the standalone heads... 150w/30w at 8Ω, 300w/60w at 4Ω.

You also seem surprised that a 2x10 can handle 300w... welcome to the world of modern, efficient speaker design and neodymium magnets! My super compact 2x10 supposedly handles the full output of my 500w class D amp, but then, I’ve never got the master volume up over 11 o’clock in a gig so who knows!

Try the maker’s website... that’s usually a good start. Invalid Link Removed
