I finished my Fenderbird.

Yikes! Whew, i'm afraid of heights ;) You're gonna set that thang up, right? ;)
Good job with it though.

Yeah, I'll set it up. I just put the strings on yesterday, so I figured I'd give the neck a day or three to get used to tension. All in due time, I just had to get some pics, though.

Nice bass, I'm gassing for one of the newer Silverburst birds myself. I highly recommend the Hipshot Supertone Bridge. I put one on my Epi LP Std. bass it just rules. The tech that worked on my Epi could not rave about that bridge enough.

I was wondering about that bridge today, actually. I could not find any reviews on how it affects the sound. I am considering it, looks like I can get one for about a hundred dollars.

Higher mass than the 3 point bridge, sits on the body, adjustable string height and spacing. I've notice a boost in sustain and a better overall tone. Those 3 point bridges are just so obsolete they should stop using them.

I've used my LP bass with that bridge for most of my shows since I got it back from my tech for trussrod issues and I've gotten a ton of compliments on the sound. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

They run about $120.00 from Hipshot and I've seen them on Ebay between $90-100.00.
