I have had an Ashdown 4-10 cab for some time now. I honestly don’t know the model of it, I bought it years ago through a bass tech on a tour I was working and he got it for me direct from Ashdown. I got it for the cost of materials… pretty sweet deal. All the info on its plate is hand written so I think it was an under the table deal. The cab kicks butt but is heavy as sin….. so recently I bought a RM-414T Evo II to go with it.
The 414T is a bit smaller and much lighter.
I used it by itself (powered by my Mesa D800+) at a gig this weekend. Holy cow, it sounded soooo good!!!
Nice low end and all the midrange that I like. I am very happy with it and it seems to pair well with my older cab.
Now I have a big rig that can be a “to go” package.
Both cabs are 600w 4 ohm. I can run my Mesa at 4 ohm with a single cab or 2 ohm with the stack…. I love versatility
