Quick question! I have a 4003w Ric. I am looking to get that piece of hardware to replace the pickup cover on the bridge pickup. I saw them on pickguardian.com but I think the site went down or something? maybe it was another website, but i cant remember the name. I think the one below is the one i'm looking for! Who makes these?
What I am looking for is something like this..
A flat piece. I do not want something like this...
I am a fan of the first one because I play with a pick and my sweet spot is right where the bridge pickup is...the reason I don't like the second picture is the edge of the pickup plate is the same height or maybe a little higher than the strings and I'd probably hit it constantly while strumming. Before the site when down (pickguardian.com) I saw one like in the first example but it was chrome(the same color as my bridge pickup plate. I want to keep it chrome if I can. I really like the look of it with chrome.
