Hey Justin,

I'm a big fan of yours! I love your approach to bass and the gear you use always seems to fit the bill.

I notice you only use passive basses for the most part. I myself find passive basses to sound much more organic and here lately, I have gotten tired of fancy smancy five string basses with active electronics and have decided to simplify.

My question for you is, have you ever used G&L or thought about playing one? If so, what did you think of them? I know you endorse Fender and Yamaha, and have seen you play Gibson and Guild as well.

I would also be curious about your opinion on the PJ configuration.
I've read you prefer Ps most of the time but use JJs when required.
what about PJs?
