I have spots on my bridge and knobs! HELP!!

If it's something like hard water spots, then vinegar will most likely do the trick. If it's some crusty spots on the metal, then Semichrome should work. Tarnishy stuff? Nevrdull is the bomb for that. Tinfoil? Never tried that; I'll have to, one of these days. Always used Simichrome and Nevrdull on my bikes... but, if that guk's eaten into the metal? Then you're kinda screwed...

If you've got spots on your knob, you should soak it in cider.

I think I'm the only that caught that one!! I've also heard the best one to use is Dickins Cider...

If any of those are pitted, then they're there permanently. If not, some of the things mentioned should work. But things like that don't bother me so much. Stuff gets old and it gets spots. I've got spots. You'll get them, too, if you haven't already

This may sound dumb, but try rubbing it with some crumpled aluminum foil and water. I read about it here a few months ago and amazingly it works!

I cleaned up two bridges (coincidentally they both happened to be Ibanez) with corrosive spots just like yours, one chrome and one gold. They came out looking great. I did the tuners too, also great.

Best part....free.

You can't really get rid of the pits, but you can easily removed corrosion, tarnish, and minimize the visibility of any pits in chrome...

...with aluminum foil. The pits are still there, but the foil cleans them up, smooths the edges, and leaves them as just a little spot.
