You just now found out about Tal?! Where have you been?!
Go buy her album Transformation now. Dont do anything else, do it. Now.
You wont regret it, its my all time favorite "bass" album, and in my top 3 albums period.
did anyone else find that a bit... sporadic??
fix'd and agreed. Glad she's havin' fun but I've seen her do better. Didn't really enjoy that one.
Here's another nice slice. I love how she always appear to be enjoying herself so much playing!

She came to the US (L.A.) from Australia as a teenager and quickly dropped the guitar for bass, and went to music school for a short while. I believe she's now about 23 or 24 give or take a year, and has been playing the bass for about 7 years. In that time I've seen or heard her share the stage with Chick Corea, Piamenta, Wayne Krantz, The Allman Brothers, Herbie Hancock and Jeff Beck. Not a bad resume for anyone that's been playing for less than a decade.A friend of mine insist's that she hasn't been playing bass for very long at all. True? Did she play any other instruments prior to taking up the bass?
you know I tried it with an o and it just didnt look right....
I knew from the title that this was either about Tal or Esperanza. Nothin like a fine lady laying it down so well. Now we know what it was like for girls when they first saw the Beatles.
