I just fell in love....

You just now found out about Tal?! Where have you been?!

Go buy her album Transformation now. Dont do anything else, do it. Now.

You wont regret it, its my all time favorite "bass" album, and in my top 3 albums period.

Yep, there's players like Tal and then there are mere mortals like myself!! Can't help but admire someone who's that young and that good. More power to her!

I got a question about her. How long has she been playing bass? A friend of mine insist's that she hasn't been playing bass for very long at all. True? Did she play any other instruments prior to taking up the bass?

Here's another nice slice. I love how she always appear to be enjoying herself so much playing!

"So you play the bass?...That's a bit of an unusual instrument for a young lady to take up, isn't it?"

Sir presenter, your nose appears to have replaced with a cock.

In other news...she is one hell of a player. Thanks for posting this :smug:

She came to the US (L.A.) from Australia as a teenager and quickly dropped the guitar for bass, and went to music school for a short while. I believe she's now about 23 or 24 give or take a year, and has been playing the bass for about 7 years. In that time I've seen or heard her share the stage with Chick Corea, Piamenta, Wayne Krantz, The Allman Brothers, Herbie Hancock and Jeff Beck. Not a bad resume for anyone that's been playing for less than a decade.

I knew from the title that this was either about Tal or Esperanza. Nothin like a fine lady laying it down so well. Now we know what it was like for girls when they first saw the Beatles.

*haha*, same here. I just really saw her for the first time last night watching Jeff Beck Live @ Ronnie Scott's. She's a fine player, and just *SO FUN* to watch (being easy on the eyes notwithstanding!)

Her solo from that performance is here: The smile she gives at the end just melts my heart!
