I KNOW PRINCE IS GONE BUT....

Cant help it, this guy is ridiculously talented and yep there goes the left handed bass player with the socks again mononeon

Too bad Mononeon did not get to play with Prince longer, but Playing with Prince at all is about the pop equivalent of playing with Miles Davis.

Off topic: except for dying young, Prince had a pretty wonderful adult life. He earned fame and fortune before he was thirty, and he spent his laters years recording, jamming, and touring. How many of us get to do exactly what we want to for our whole professional life?

You are exactly right ,still can't believe he is gone

With Judith Hill, hope they keep this going. Local MN guitarist Jesse Larson makes an appearance.

That is a nice promotional video! The album is really nice too. It looks like Mononeon is playing a Yamaha BB1025x. It was cool seeing Prince at the end of the video. He certainly did not look like a man with hip pain so bad that he would be dead from painkillers in four months. I am currently preparing for knee replacement surgery, and unless a mountain lion chased me, and I was overcome with adrenalin, there is no way I could run around the way Prince did at the end of the video.

Been real sad here in MN. I'm 47 and he was a large part of our identity, fan or not. He was more like an athlete with how he treated showmanship. Must be hard to let everything you know go because your body is failing.

I remember when I first heard about him doing a solo piano tour, I thought it might have been a way just to pocket more money, but now I think it might have been a way to establish a more laid back performance image.
