I lost my mind!

Th

Thanks! Any pics of your rig?
It’s expanded a bit since I originally bought it; Ampeg GAS is an exceptionally strong force. Here here you go ;)

It’s a ‘70s Ampeg V4 4x12 cabinet. I replaced the old CTS speakers with 4 Ohm Eminence Basslite S2012s (custom ordered) so it’s a 4 Ohm cab (wired series/parallel like the original drivers).

It’s my favorite cab with all of my amps.
Nice!!
How much does that weigh? I've thought about adding another 212AV (When funds become available:thumbsdown:). Wondering if it would make more sense to just sell the AV and get an old 4x12 or have one made by fliptops.

Thanks!

It’s about 65 lbs with the Basslites in it. The cab itself is 47 lbs, and with the original speakers it’s about 80 lbs.

You can often find V4s in decent to good shape for $300 - $400 with original speakers intact, cheaper if they’re missing or blown. All in all probably less expensive than a Fliptops cab, but certainly won’t be in as good condition.
