Apologies if this isnt the correct part of the forum and if it isnt please point me in the right direction! I had a look but couldnt find a particular forum place for this... thanks.
Ive been playing bass for quite a few years now and would consider myself in the top end of intermediate roughly, i dont like to pigeon hole skill levels like this as music is vast and varied, i have a few projects going, record and produce my own music and have a vast knowledge of the instrument and playing it but I am looking for a high end tutor to contact for a few lessons and insight to push my playing forwards maybe after Christmas.
I live in Carlisle in the North of England but am used to travelling all over the UK with work so what I'm asking is if anyone knows of any exceptional Bass specialised music tutors say out as far as Newcastle, Glasgow or down to Manchester etc that i could contact for some face to face lessons etc. when I say specialised I'm looking for someone exceptional in both skill and the ability to teach well to someone who can already play to help me break more ground, theory, techniques etc.
I'm really not bothered about cost, obviously the better and more decorated the tutor the more it will be but i dont want to leave any stone unturned so would love to hear absolutely anyone's recomendations and contacts regarding this please, there is a vast amount of collective Bass knowledge on this site so please anyone feel free to chime in!
