I'm looking for a bass pedal that has "crazy" effects similar to that of a Microkorg. I've played around with ME-50B and, although, it does have a few decent effects I'm looking for something a bit "other worldly". Is there ANYTHING for bass (or guitar) that can be likened as a mix of a Roland GR-20 guitar synth with a Microkorg?

Use the search bar at the top left of the Effects forum to search for 'synth'. There are approximately 5.7 million posts on synth related effects pedals.
The MicroKorg has man, many sounds in it so you're going to need to be much more specific about the sounds you want.
I've been working on a synth board and have spent thousands to get the tones I want. It's certainly a cool way to go but I'd recommend just getting a MicroKorg if you like the sounds. Take the time to learn you scales or even transpose for each different key so you only have to learn one.
Having said that, check out the following...

MarkBass Super Synth
Line 6 M9 or M13
There are infinite numbers of ways you can create synth tones using combinations of individual pedals but those ones above are your best bets for dedicated synth pedals, or in the case of the the Line 6 ones, they're a multi with synth patches included.

A synthesizer is made to be able to produce a vast amount of different sounds so sounding like a synth is one of the most non specific descriptions ever 
. I would also recommend buying a synth so don't have to struggle to get those sounds and learning a new instrument will be good for you as a musician.

I was dissatisfied with the synth produced from the ME-50B but I do like what I've gotten from a $45 Digitech Bass Synth Pedal. I suggest you try one out.
Boss OC-2 ==> Fuzz (preferably gated) ==> Moog Low Pass Filter
This set up is awesome!! As well as a few all-inclusive synth pedals, I use the combination of the OC-2, Brown Dog circuit of my Octavius Squeezer and the LPF.
Should have mentioned the Boss SYB-3 and SYB-5 synth pedals in the above post.

which one has the best tracking on faster played notes? the markbass seems really sweet, and the boss syb-5 seems perfect but apparently its tracking is bad as far as ive read? >.>
the only issue with the markbass super is its not out in the US yet and its pretty pricey.

Sorry to zombie-fy or resurrect this thread, but I just wanted to point out that there are ways of using the on-board effects the microkorg has with stringed instruments.
