I need help with the Boss BF2 Flanger

Alright, I know you're young and love RATM and Tool and want to cop their stuff. That's fine and all, I like them too. But you need to know better avenues to figure out your info. For Tool, it'll be [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I'll give you a little help to get you on your way. I did a search for "flanger" on ToolTabs (TT). Since their forum sucks and cant search by topics only, I looked for threads with flanger in their name. Low and behold I came across this - [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. The forum has been around for awhile and people have figured out pretty much 99% of all the recorded tracks. Only small nuances are left to discover. Thus, anything you want to know about Justin and his rig, you will find there. Trust me, it is there if you search. Good luck

yeah bro I know what you are saying Kooldac, I am just young and a will learn and I shouldn't just copy and I should just expand my mind on what i really want, since im young, i want to copy my role models, you know what I mean, you had of done the samething maybe not guitar but something else. I will learn.

Two of them can screw your pedal up and have no beneficial effect on the sound. I highly recommend you get over the "eh whatever" attitude about searching before you mung your pedal! :smug:

One of them effectively adjusts the maximum resonance - factory set it to prevent self-oscillation (feedback). Cool fun.

bassplayer4893, you can still copy your role models without searching for step-by-step instructions on the 'net! Use your ears and you'll find the right sound AND learn something about your new effect pedal.

I forget which one is which, but the schematics and circuit board layouts are easily turned up on google - find the one called "RES" or something like that and go for it. Don't touch anything labelled "BIAS" or "CLOCK" or any abbreviations thereof - don't say I didn't warn you!
