I Need Support: My Best Friend is Sick

I bring bad news to TB: my best friend is sick and as he goes for medical care I would ask for your prayers, thoughts, and well wishes during this troubling time. The problem was barely noticeable for a while but it became too much for us to ignore and so my friend is off to the best experts in the world for diagnosis and treatment. We have no idea what is wrong, but we are both optimistic that this will end well and we just have to endure our time apart. Please, everyone, wish my best friend, my EHX HOG2, the very best as he travels to New York for repair.

(Seriously, the filter used to be silent but now has a tone of background noise unless I drag both sliders down to nothing, but then almost everything is filtered. I assume it is a connection issue but well beyond my expertise, as the HOG2 is less pedal than tiny computer. Anyone have experience with pedals being repaired? The HOG is pretty much the backbone of my rig, so it will be hard being without and even worse worrying about it.)
