I want a black pickguard for a American standard p bass v but I can't find any. The only ones I see are for the four string model. Any ideas on where to find a new one.

Get a custom one made. I would talk to Justin at www.terrapinguitars.com . I've had plenty of pickguards made by him.
The only thing I don't like about that is sometimes people post things on there but don't really know what they have. I've had this happen a few times
I got a custom P-Bass pickguard done by [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], and I am very happy with the results. I don't know if they have a pattern for the P-Bass 5 string, but they can work with a tracing if you send one.

I ordered a pickguard for a 2011 MIA Jazz Deluxe from WD. Most jazz basses have a 10 hole pickguard but the deluxe is 9 hole. I had a hard time finding one but WD had it in stock. I received it within 3 days of ordering it and it fits perfectly.
What does it mean when it says thin, solid, or 3ply ? This is my first time ordering one.
The 3-ply would be most like the OEM guard (3 layers - black/white/black with a beveled edge), and although I don't have firsthand experience with the others, I'd imagine the solid version wouldn't be layered like the 3-ply, and the thin one would be a lower profile.
I would imagine that "thin" is 0.06" single ply, and "solid" is 0.09" single ply. The triple ply is probably 0.09".
The "thin" probably isn't beveled, but the "solid" may or may not be.
That's personal preference. Some people like the aesthetic better.
Though it is advisable to avoid single ply pickguards, as they warp. (And hence, modern pickguards always being three, four, or five ply.)
