I need to vent. (Car rant)

Like lower it 5 inches, give it a hideous paint job, replace the gauges, etc...

I hate how that guy ruins old cars. I'm a strict purist when it comes to old stuff- I like it to look the way it did originally. I've restored several vintage motorcycles and put them all back to factory condition.

Agreed. The only way to restore a car is to bring it back to its OEM state.

I must admit I don't see the point in driving slower then traffic - it's a good way to get tailgated, and it can have a tendency to cause accidents when people get frustrated and try to pass where they shouldn't.

Let 'em hit me....They're gonna regret it in more ways than one. :D

I'm only courteous to truckers and I'll speed up if they're behind me.

But a soccer mom in a new piece of plastic mini-van? Ahaha yeah go ahead and hit me. You'll total your P.O.S. and I'll sue you. ;D

My daily driver. Stock is for sissies.

She rolls with a RHS 320 horse crate motor. She is a 1979.

I had to comment here because my first car was a 1974 Plymouth Valiant. It ran great for almost two years (I bought it used from a cousin). At around 60K miles, it started having problems: running rough, trouble starting, etc. It turned out that the valves and rings were going out. As I was driving out to the salvage yard, there was smoke coming out of the dash. It died at a stop sign and we had to have it towed the remaining ¼ mile. Thankfully I only paid $600 for it and got about $250 from the salvage yard.

I have not owned a Chrysler product since (and have owned nine cars after that).

LOL I had a Volvo like that. Are you sure it was even at 60K? Those odometers don't have a 6th digit so it could've been at 560K for all you know :P
