I Need Your Help

Hello, I am a new member of this fine establishment. This is my first "thread". I currently play guitar and am planning on purchasing a bass, but am on a tight budget...:hmm:

I was wondering if the members of the site could direct me in a positive direction. I am in a band and we plan on playing Hard Rock. I think I have narrowed it down to 2 basses...

If you think you could help me decide, give me another reasonably priced option, or just introduce yourself to a new-comer like myself, i would definitely appreciate it. :)

I have a Squire Vintage 70's Modified and I use it for punk and hard rock, and about every other style accept country....no offense just don't like it. Its a very versatile bass. I love the Duncan Designed pick up's. I got the natural body style.....love it....love it.....love it. You should really check one out. Also, I used to own that Ibanez....wasn't to happy with it....traded it for the Squire. But with what feels right for you.
