Okay, i know this will sound pathetic to a lot of you, but i'm gonna ask anyways. I play a Washburn XB100, and my volume control works fine, but my tone knob doesn't catch, it will just spin all day and it doesn't appear to do anything to the sound. Is it broken, or is it supposed to be like that, or is there another reason that i didn't think of? I could use some help with this and any info would be appreciated.

I had that bass. Check the knob, sometimes it spun without catching onto the shaft post. Push down when you turn and see if that makes a difference.
