Philbiker said:Bald or very close shaven are great hairstyle. Chicks love bald men. Really. You'll find this out. It's a great look for a musician/bass player just ask Tony Levin. Really stands out. You'll need to wear hats and sunblock depending on the situation.
Man, your Avatar gives me the willies!GhostLobby said:Words of wisdom. I bic my head except in winter when I grow just enough to keep my noggin' warm.

The first time, my friend/"barber" cut my hair really short, then went over my head with my beard trimmer, and then shaved my head with a razor and shaving cream. The other night, when I did it by myself, I first used the trimmer, then the razor, then I went over it with my electric shaver to get a closer shave. I will probably use the electric shaver every few days.bassthumpa said:Question for the TB Baldilocks... do you use a razor, or clippers/trimmers?

I don't care WHO y'are...that's funny!Matthew Bryson said:The uniform of the modern metal head is very close to that of the neo hippy. Jeans, T shirts, long hair, beards. Incidentally, it is all very similar to the uniform of the (Harley Davidson) Biker, but I don't want to derail the thread any further than what is necessary.
The only way to tell a hippy from a metal head is their facial expressions. The hippy will always have a smile or a glazed over look of confusion. The metal head will always have a scowl or frown.
A little known fact is that if a metal head gets some good news and accidentally allows themselves to smile, they actually become a hippy, but only for the period of time during which they are actually smiling. Conversely, if a hippy has a bad day and walks around scowling and glaring at people, he has actually become "metal" for the period of time during which is going about giving dirty looks.
It's all very complicated. There's really not that much difference between the two. It's not as easy to keep track of the subsets of rock and rollers as it used to be.
