I've been playing the 5 string bass since November 2023, while I was taking a gutair class. Been practicing for 30 minutes each day, and now I can keep up with all of the technical music I listen to.
My bass is a Rouge Series III LX205B. It's real heavy, but I can manage it. Just slap some distortion on it and it's fine. Still need to get my hands on new strings after all this time.
Now I'll just regurgitate info I already put on my profile.
For genres I listen to I like Brutal Prog, Avant - Prog, Technical Death Metal, Noise Rock, and some aspects of Sludge Metal. For right now I'm doing a solo project that's still going to take a while, considering that I need to write the bass tabs, and make the drum beats myself.
Don't have an amp yet but I am going to get one very soon, which will be a fender rumble 25.
Pretty much it wazzup
