After a few weeks of tweaking, randomly conecting stuff and fooling around, here's what I managed to set up as what I believe is my dream tone:
Guitar ---> whammy 4 --dry signal-->MXR blowtorch --->Sansamp RBI---->TE gp12smx (300w)--->TE 1048h
--wet signal from whammy-->DOD Juice box (guitar OD)--->TE AH 250 --->Marshall 4x12 cab (with V30's)
The dry whammy signal is just slightly distorded, is more of a "clarity and definition boost" thing than actuall distortion. The wet signal is highly distorded, most of the low frequencies cut, a light mid boost. Since the whammy affects only this signal, with a 2octs up setting I can get a really pleasant synth sound. More on that later, I'll try to post some pics too
