Thanks, FuzzBass & nutdog! It does play and sound super at home. I haven't been able to play it live (worship leader is still recovering from surgery) yet, so in the mean time, I sent the pick guard off to JohnK so he can craft one in black abalone.

From New Years gig 2 nights ago (Fender American Standard Fretless with hum canceling Bartolinis). The "official" color is "Ocean Turquoise Metallic with ultra-fine sparkles", but it looks blue to me...

I approve of this thread If I still were playing bolt on's I'd have some serious case of GAS, (Though the Frog above sparked my intrest a little..)

However, the reason that I not play Bolt-on's anymore (well, the original reason is a black one, But I blame this one for making me GAS-Free):

Spector has a beautiful Bahama Blue finish

Aquilina Shelby GT350 (Not completely blue, but still a nice design)

Fender Steve Harris in Royal Blue

I will more than likely return to FBass for another build. I would like a custom MAF6 finished as below. And of course, the AC6 always looks amazing!

The Xotic XB-2 models look great, especially with quilted maple.

Adam Nitti's signature Ibanez looks awesome!

I also dig the Ibanez SR2605, in cerulean blue burst, revealed at NAMM in Jan 2018
