i might buy a pre made neck specs are here
- hardrock maple
- ebony fingerboard with white dots
- 24 medium-jumbo frets
- 34" scale
- 1.75" wide at the nut
- 2.75" wide at 24th fret
- 9/16" dia. holes
- 1.7" body thickness
- 12" remaining body length
now i wanted to either make the rest of the body bubina or blank korina or maybe a bit of both would those woods mixed sound alright?
thanks for the input i have a cnc machine that i can use, but i think id rather do it by hand and make it my own and i might take your word and buy some cheaper wood and make some body ideas but i was planning on buying some wood from exoticwooddotcom i think its called and reading other threads have helped me understand the parts and what needs to go into building a bass
