    Sad day for the light hearted National Lampoon fans.
    Actor/comedian Tony Hendra passed away. Hendra is known for portraying Ian Faith, the manager in This is Spinal Tap. He nailed the quirks of John Lennon in National Lampoon’s Magical Misery Tour.
    Rest well and peace be with your family. Thanks for the joy you shared with so many.

    It's easy to overlook, but his work in Spinal Tap really underscores the value of a good straight man as a launching platform for the lunacy. Well done indeed. :angel:

    I watched Spinal Tap numerous times and must admit, I only recently fully “got” arguably Ian’s best line in the movie. RIP
