Ibanez ATK help.

I recently won an auction for an ATK300, with some minor issues.

Here is the description.
"Previous owner modified guitar to make pickups active (see pics of the back) & changed the selector switch to shut pickups off in the first position. There may be a short in the input jack. The sound cuts in & out if guitar cord is moved. Therefore we are listing this AS-IS for repair."

Now, the input jack should be an easy fix, but I'm kind of confused where it says the previous owner modified the pickups to make them active, aren't ATK 300's Active stock?

And what was the original setting for the first position of the switch?

Here is the link to the actual auction.

Technically the ATK pickups are passive with an active EQ. It still has the stock pickup it seems, so this may be a non-issue.
I don't know why anyone would change the selector switch that way, that's stupid. The three settings are humbucker, single coil with a dummy coil, and pure single coil.
It sounds like the input jack is a little shaky. Easy fix on that one.

So i'm missing out on one of the settings? That's a little disappointing
