I have tried many many bass chorus pedal. Probably 10 or so. My favorite at one time was the Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus, but I found I really liked only 1 sound in that pedal, and I wanted something with fewer knobs. I read somewhere that the Ibanez chorus pedals had a similar vibe to the tech 21, so I bought a CS-9, and that information was correct!! The CS9 did the one sound in the Tech 21 that I loved, but with fewer knobs and a smaller enclosure!
I have been rocking the CS9 the last few months, when I learned about the other Ibanez chorus pedals in the 10 series. So I bought them both to try.
I decided to do a comparison of all 3, shared here:
I am keeping the BC10 on my bass board, and the SC10 on my guitar board. The BC10 can sound almost identical to the CS9 in my option, but has top mounted jacks, so takes up slightly less space. I love all 3 though!
