Ibanez BTB 205 Circuitry / pickup dead ?

Hello,

I've had my Ibanez BTB 205 for 5 years now. Never had any issues with it, bought it brand new from local dealer of Ibanez.

Tonight as i was practicing i rolled the Balance pot from all the left to get close to the one of the songs i am now learning, and at the end i rolled the Balance pot all the right back - and there is no sound at all. If i rotate the pot just a little bit (like 1 mm) to the left, there is sound, but it's the sound of the other pickup - as if the pot has been turned all the way to the left. So what i can definetly say, the distinguishable sharp tone that i had at the right side of the Balance pot is completely missing now.

Can you help me establish what's wrong with it. Is one of the pickups broken/dead, or it might be something in the elctronics?

First i thought it's low battery, but nah...

(Since this is my first post on the Ibanez forums and i haven't introduced myself yet, i am playing/producing funk/hiphop/breakbeat music and i play funk with my band mates

i play mostly that kind of stuff

Jamiroquai - Whatever It is, I Just Can't Stop bass cover

Jamiroquai - Too Young To Die bass cover

Jamiroquai - Hooked Up bass cover

Would appreciate any kind of help ;)
