Today I was playing my instrument Ibanez premium Sr 1300 when on of my friend came and he has an Ibanez Sr600.
After a little bit of playing we switched and for first time I actually started play Ibanez low level basses.First things that got my attention was neck ,actually it has thicker neck than mine but with same nut width that was surprising for me because I though both basses should have same size necks just with different wood but mine was like a C when his was like a D.
So I was thinking was Ibanez neck profile change in last 5 years or is it normal such a difference .
Actually I have been testing Ibanez standard 5 strings lately and hate that D shape which is like their standard 4 string has same style .So I was thinking maybe premium 5er has more C shape than a Ds which are in standard line .
So anyone try both standard and premium 4 strings or 5 strings that can give me this info ?
