Ibanez noise

When i do hammer on's, why do i hear the note i intend to play and i also hear the sound from behind the fret to the nut being played. Hope i described this correctly. i repeated the factory setup and still have a issue. thx for your help

Maybe your technique, maybe it could be your nut is slightly loose (Doubt it but, still check) that is sort of hard to answer without physichally seeing what you mean however my ATK305 when hammered on/off never does such a thing.
