Hi all! I have a 2003 Ibanez Prestige SR3005E SOL that I'd potentially like to trade for the right bass. She's in pretty great shape and comes with the original hard shell case.
The wenge and bubinga neck is beautiful on this bass as is the natural grain, but I haven't been quite able to get along with the darker tone. There is a small scuff above the tone stack knob (pictured) and a bit of normal wear mostly only on the back of the body, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 19 year old bass. She's all original with active Bartolini pup's and preamp.
As for trades I am only really looking for 5 or potentially 6 strings. Basses of interest would include a Stingray Ray35, ESP AP-5 or other 5 string P bass, Warwick, but open to check out any offers. Mainly looking for something with a bit brighter and more aggressive of a tone.
Pictured are the spec's from the original '03 Ibanez catalog, and string spacing is 16.5. I recently had the bass professionally set up by the wizards at Waddell's Music here north of Pittsburgh, Pa. I imagine trade value would be ~$900 but willing to +/- some cash on my end depending on the trade.
