Ibanez Promethean

27 lbs. detachable head, has anyone tried one or better yet reviewed one. I'm looking to lighten my load. I heard the tone was on the modern thumb slab style side, which really isn't the way I play. I'm a little more vintage. Any thoughts?

haha. well in that TALKBASS thread at the top of the search, it IS the leading thread on the promethean. its up to date, 21 pages long, you just have to read through it. More than likely everyone else's posts here are going to be stiffer than mine.
