I'm trying to figure out which Ibanez SR standard models are sold with a clear gloss/hardcoat finish. Looking over the limited supply at a local music store, I see that the SR500 series has some kind of natural wood/oiled/satin finish that is easily scratched, dinged, and worn. There's a SR370E model that has clear coat on the body and headstock, but I found the 300's don't sound as good as the 500s.
Unfortunately the specs on the Ibanez website don't clearly state which models have clear coat or not. Can anyone help decipher which current models have it? It's definitely my preference to help protect from damage.
