So, I have this SR305. Mostly been hanging on the wall and used to work really fine.
Then one day I picked it up and there's a lot of electric noise (crackle and hiss), mainly when moving pots. Changed the battery but no help.
I found out that when i stick a screwdriver in that little metal thingy where the red wire goes and touching the pot itself, the issue is away. Clean sound and no noise. I tried to resolder the red wire again, but no help either.
How can it break just like that in no use?
Guess I have to replace the pot. What is the exact one that would work?
