I love way it looks, feels, plays and sounds.
I'm in the market for a new bass and the IbaneZ SR500 is what caught my eye, I love way it looks, feels, plays and sounds. Now I just want to hear how the guys on TB feels about this bass.

The finish on the SR500 is thin and takes damage, good if you like "road wearing" your instruments, not good if you like shiny and pristine.
I hate it... I am not the only one but I am in the minority... I hate pretty much every SR I have ever played. Near to impossible to get set up without nasty clank, and pretty much impossible to intonate.
I owned an SR-506 for 29 days, it got returned on the 30th because I got frustrated at how big of a chunk of poo it was. It went back for an upgrade.
The upgrade was an Ibanez BTB, my main axe for years until recently, so I am not biased against Ibanez, just SR.
