Ibanez SR505 owners

I bought a neck of this bass, and wish to add a bubinga body to it.
Can you please measure the thickness of the body along the neck line, and how high does the neck rise above the body (in the middle of the neck's width, where it ends)

Nope, the Prestige SR series are. The SR505's are all bolt-ons, with a five-piece laminated neck.

How'd you swing that? Ibanez has a real strict policy about selling necks separately.

Well lots of people upgrade their thumbs to barts, I'll just make a new body, the price of that sr505's body worth the electronics and hardware alone, almost, I think.
so I gain a body. That way I gain some more time before I put more cash into the wood.
