Ibanez SR600 vs Warwick RB Corvette Basic?

I'd go with the Ibanez. Why? Because I own one and it's awesome...I also think it looks cooler than the Warwick, but that's purely superficial.

Can't seem to find detailed specs about the Warwick's neck (other than the fretboard radius, 16"), but (IMO) the Ibanez Soundgear basses have super comfortable necks. The GC specs list the nut width at 1.5, but according to Sweetwater it's thinner (I want to say 1.486 or something). The radius is 12". All I know is that it's definitely more comfortable than a Jazz-width neck (for me). If skinny necks aren't your thing I wouldn't go for the Ibanez, or I'd at least be sure to try it out before buying it.

If a dealer near you has both basses in stock it'd be best to do a side-by-side comparison.

Both brands tend to get very polarized opinions - you either love their stuff, or hate it.

It's very subjective, but here it goes: I went from Ibbys to Warwicks, and after a couple of years I've switched back to Ibanez. IMO they offer the best bang for the buck.

SR600 is a proper Ibanez SR. Warwick RBs are cheaper (budget) versions of their expensive models - it's what Squier is for Fender. That doesn't mean they sound bad, but on the other hand, that does mean they don't sound like the real deal. All in all, you shouldn't decide without testing the basses in person - they sound quite different: 'Vettes tend to sound a bit more classic (Fender-ish...dare I say), while the SR600 has a warm bassy tone. I guess both would do a pretty good job at covering those music styles.

I personally prefer Warwick. But both are very good instruments for the price. Yes i have owned both i had a sr485 sr 505 and a sr1205 and a RB corvette but sold them all and went with 2 German Corvettes. If you look around you might find a used German Corvette for just a bit more money which are amazing instruments.
