Details

I started a project I could not finish (unfortunately not the first time either). It is an Ibanez TMB300 body with a Fender double jazz pickup from an older American Deluxe Precision and a Squier P bass pickup. Preamp is from a TMB 100 and is compatible with the 300 except it has no switch for single coil to humbucking mode for the bridge pickup. There is a chip in the paint near the input jack that is pretty deep and I included a picture of that. None of the electronics are connected or have been tested in any way. I also have neck screws with ferrule inserts. I have a TMB neck that is usable but is a homemade fretless and appears to have had the nut installed backwards. I had the neck on another TMB bass and it worked fine and the nut, much to my amazement was functional although clearly not optimal. I will throw the neck in for an extra $15.00 if someone buys the loaded body and wants it; which would basically cover my shipping costs.
I am willing to part out and prices are as follows (all prices include shipping)
Unloaded body: $65.00
Fender double jazz pickup: $35.00
Squier P pickup: $15.00
TMB: preamp: $20.00
Loaded TMB neck: $35.00

Note: I have not installed any of the electronics so I cannot vouch for their reliability and that is reflected in the price.
I also did not bother taking pictures of the back of the bass because there was nothing to see.

To be perfectly honest I don’t really know. It is the same pickup that is in the older American Precision deluxe models. I have used this pickup before and it’s tone is more bridge jazz pickup sounding than a typical humbucker.

How much for the body, double jazz pickup, bridge, input jack, pickguard....shipped to TN? I am a serious buyer not just a tire kicker. Email [email protected].

Thanks
Mike

....OOPs I assume that the neck pocket will accept a standard fender neck and neck plate? Please advise.

The double jazz pickup is sold but I have the P pickup, the TMB preamp, the body that includes the bridge, neck screws, pickguard. I would sell for $85.00 shipped.

According to Talman specs the neck pock is slightly smaller than standard fender (2.5 inches). I read that it was 1/16th inch narrower.

Do you have the neck?

I have a defretted neck with a nut that is installed with the G string on top and the E string on the bottom that I would throw in for free (I used it as is and it is a functioning neck that seemed stable). I would sell all of the parts I have; the body, neck, preamp, neck screws for $100 shipped since there would be much work required to make this an operable bass.
