Having never played the Ibanez, my only comment is that most of them (ignoring the ATK, which I have and love) have somewhat thin necks, SXes have somewhat chunky necks. I like chunk, which is part of the reason I love my SXes (and my Ibanez ATK305).

If you like thin necks, don't go for the SX. And seeing as the neck is one of the more problematic things to change, I vote you buy for feel. Pups, and electronics are easily changed, and the stock ones on SXes are quite serviceable.

I wouldn't say that the TMB's have quite the ATK size of chunk, but they're much closer to that than they are to soundgears. The ones I played sat right between the feel of a P and J. Truely a middle of the road feel in a good way. It has a 1.614" nut.
