For those of you who have switched out the electronics, did you happen to keep the stock preamp? I am looking to scoop one up, but it seems that there aren't any to be had on eBay or anywhere like that. I believe I can order through Ibanez also, but it looks like it comes in pieces.
Why, you may ask? I am thinking of sticking the preamp in a TMB30. I know there are three holes, and I would have to get creative with that, but I like the preamp enough I want it put it in other basses!
I am open to alternatives also, of course, but I really like Ibanez one and I don't want to spend a lot. I really like it's hot and aggressive nature - it really fits the style that I am playing in.
