Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if there is a document/manual that defines the Southampton Ictineo's controls? I discovered the text below on [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], but that's it.

• BODY and TONE controls for fine-tuning your sound.
• Plenty of volume, plus a loud BOOST switch.
• An ULTRABASS switch to crank the low end.
• 600 Hz boost, 1 khz boot, and 250 hz dip, all switch selectable, for carving out your frequency range.

I made the following assumptions:

• The 600 Hz and 1KHz Boosts apply a volume boost to their respective frequencies.
• The 250 HZ Dip applies a volume reduction to this frequency.
• Any switch set to SUB uses the default values.
• VOL controls volume.

Here are my questions:

• What do the BODY and TONE knobs specifically control? The names are common, but just abstract enough to elicit confusion?
• What does the FLAT switch control?
• What frequencies do the ULTRABASS switch amplify/enhance?
• How does the BOOST switch affect the other controls?

I know that I can get a whole mess of awesome sounds from this little box from fiddling around with every knob-switch permutation, but the engineer in me needs more precision!
